EPB&B Named a Top Corporate Philanthropist 2025 by the Portland Business Journal

Taking care of our team members, customers, and the people in the Portland community is what EPB&B is all about. We’re proud to share that in 2025, Elliott, Powell, Baden & Baker has once again been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a Top Corporate Philanthropist—coming in at an impressive #8.

This year marks an exciting new milestone for us, as it’s the first year EPB&B has been recognized in the medium-sized business category, after many years of recognition in the small business category. It’s a reflection of our continued growth, and even more, of our ongoing commitment to giving back as we grow.

Whether it’s providing housing for families in a tight spot, serving hot meals to people in need, funding student scholarships in the arts, or supporting animal welfare organizations, we’re proud to pay it forward by partnering with nonprofits that make life better for others in our community.

The awards ceremony, held at The Nines Hotel in downtown Portland, honored the Top Corporate Philanthropists who continue to make a lasting impact across our community. EPB&B is truly honored to be among those celebrated, standing alongside local organizations that share our passion for service, compassion, and community betterment.

Being recognized for our philanthropic efforts reflects more than just donations—it highlights the dedication of our team to volunteerism, partnership, and purpose. At Elliott, Powell, Baden & Baker Insurance, we believe that success is best measured not only by what we achieve in business, but by the positive difference we make in the lives of others.

A big thank-you to our team members, customers, and professional partners—your generosity and shared belief in our mission make this recognition possible.

I’m so proud to be part of a team that has grown over the years with a focus not on sales, but on serving our customers and the Portland metro community. I’m grateful to the Portland Business Journal for providing an opportunity each year to recognize top philanthropic businesses and connect with like-minded leaders. Most of all, I’m thankful for our customers—their trust and support allow us to employ more than 50 local professionals and give back to charities that make a difference in our community.
