Pam Wimmer from EPB&B helps serve dinner at the Goose Hollow Family Shelter of Portland Homeless Family Soloutions (PFHS), while Brennan and Dylan Baker helped to prepare and serve meals at the shelter during the holidays. The Goose Hollow Family Shelter is a night shelter for eight homeless families with children. Families are able to stay at the shelter for about 30-60 days where they receive sleeping space and the family stays together and is not seperated as in other shelters. Families also enjoy dinner and breakfast along with access to computers, telephones, showers and laundry facilities. Daytime support and meals are provided at the Thirteen Salmon Family Shelter. If you are a family looking for shelter, please call 211 and press option 1.
