For more than 15 years, Elliott, Powell, Baden & Baker has kicked off the holiday season by throwing Portland’s premier holiday event, The EPB&B Holiday Open House. The unfortunate reality of 2020 compels us to postpone this year’s event – yet that same reality means we need your help more than ever.
This year, we are asking our industry partners to help us, help our community by contributing to two local charities that directly benefit people and their pets – Feed the Hungry Inc. and The Pongo Fund.
We are so grateful to be in an industry that helps people in need every day and appreciate the partnerships that allow us to accomplish this. Thank you for your support in keeping this 15-year tradition alive by making a donation to these two local organizations that are supporting a need that is greater than ever. Feed the Hungry Inc. – For close to three decades the community of Milwaukie has gathered every Sunday afternoon to serve a hearty meal and provide a short respite from life on the street and lives disconnected. Because of COVID, Feed the Hungry regrettably was required to change from providing a sanctuary for visitors to enjoy a sit down meal to serving hot meals in to-go boxes.
The Pongo Fund – Helping the animals of proud seniors, brave Veterans, the victimized, the marginalized, the unemployed, the disabled, the mentally ill, the hungry, the hurting, the homeless, and other good people facing the toughest of times. That’s what the Pongo Fund does. Because sometimes we all can use a little extra help.
