Love music? Then set your alarm and get in line early at your favorite independent record store this Saturday June 12th for RECORD STORE DAY. This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store—the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.
Here in Portland don’t miss two local favorites and valued EPB&B insureds, nationally recognized Music Millennium, and Jackpot Records Records.
“For me it’s like Christmas in June, “Says EPB&B President, and avid vinyl collector, Marc Baker. There are so many cool limited releases that come and go in a matter of hours. Portland is very lucky to have two of the nation’s top record stores right here in Portland.”
Special vinyl and CD releases and promotions are made available just for the day, and the merchandise goes fast.
