Benefits Account Manager

Full time | Portland, OR | Hybrid

Account Manager must be able to interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency. Account Manager works in a team environment that includes a close working relationship with one or more Sales Executive.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides technical support and service to agency’s Benefits client base for group or individual coverage.
  • Works in conjunction with Sales Executive or independently to market new and renewal benefit insurance including gathering census information to obtain quote from carriers.
  • Verifies quotes and insurance policies or changes for accuracy
  • Prepares enrollment materials, rate sheets and proposals for presentation to clients.
  • Ensures that documentation and information in agency database is precise and detailed according to agency procedure and insurance protocols.
  • Adhere to agency customer service standards and office procedures in all areas of agency operations.
