What a mess !! EPB&B particpated in "Safety Break for Oregon" by staging an empty office as a safety scavenger hunt. Safety Officer, Jeff Bruss and Loss Control Manager, Jill Perucca designed the office to demonstrate many common and some not-so-common office safety hazards. Employees were allowed to view the staged office through a window and note as many safety violations as they could find. Prizes were awarded for the employee who found the most violations and everyone who participated was entered in a drawing to win $25.
EPBB and President Marc Baker, Alissa Mishler and Ronni Phillips were thrilled to accept the Associate Member of the Year Award from the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association (ORLA) last night at their annual convention and hospitality awards. First time ever that this award has gone to an insurance agency. Thank you so much for the honor!!
EPBB was named (lucky) #13 on the Portland Business Journal's list of Top Corporate Philanthropists. Employees of EPBB spent over 675 hours volunteering for many local causes such as Portland Homeless Family Solutions, Feed the Hungry, Oregon Music Hall of Fame and Meals on Wheels. We also gave a combined total of $36,435 in cash donations and $19,083 in in-kind contributions to local charities in 2015. Way to give back team EPBB !!
Thanks to the amazing fundraising efforts of EPBB President, Marc Baker, he was able to present Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) with a big check in the amount of $20,000 towards future music education scholarships.
