EPB&B is taking the current Coronavirus outbreak seriously, and yet we are 100% open for business. Most of our staff is working their normal hours from home. You can communicate with staff members using normal channels, including telephone, fax, and email.
Feel free to contact us if you have any insurance concerns, regardless if they are routine or related to current events. If anything about EPBB's situation changes, we will let you know. Our Facebook page generally has the most up-to-date information about us.
Thanks to all our customers, vendors, and partners for respecting the current situation. We value all of you, and will strive to continue our tradition of excellent customer service.
Today EPB&B joined worksites across Oregon to honor workplace safety by participating in Safety Break for Oregon 2018. We invited the Firefighters from Portland Fire Station #15 to come and join us for some fire education and a cup of coffee from Kelly's Coffee Cruiser.
Oregon OSHA coordinates this one-day event, designed to raise awareness and promote the value of workplace safety and health.
For the 4th straight year, EPB&B has won The Oregonian's Top Workplaces in Oregon.
This award is especially important to us because it's all based on employee feedback. We owe all our success to the smart, innovative, and hardworking people that make up EPB&B.
We are so sad that we had to say "goodbye" to yet another of the original EPB&B partners, Neil Baker who passed away on Friday, June 24th. Former EPB&B President, Neil Baker, was born and raised in Portland and graduated from Grant High School and OSU. He entered the insurance industry out of college and took a sales position with Universal Underwriters before training with Safeco Insurance and joining the Mathieson-Baker Agency in the mid 1960's. In 1968 Neil Baker and Bill Baden joined Gordo...n Powell and Warren Elliott to form what is now EPB&B. Neil received Safeco Insurance "Lifetime Award of Excellence" prior to his retirement in 2000. He served on the Board of Directors of the Sellwood Boys and Girls Club and was an Associate Board Member for the Oregon Petroleum Association. He volunteered to deliver Meals on Wheels and worked with OSU Alumni Association and The Beaver Club. He was a class act and great man who will be sadly missed. Information on services to follow.
Once again, for the third year in a row, EPB&B has been among the Top Workplaces in Oregon. We were happy to pick up the award last night at the ceremony hosted by The Oregonian. We came in at #24 for the small business category - for businesses with under 100 employees. Way to go team EPBB - thanks for making this workplace - tops in Oregon !!
